Schedule a lesson!
We are moving towards more in-person lessons, and yet I am still teaching lessons on Zoom. Let’s work the way you feel most comfortable. Hang in there, my fellow Super Spreaders!
Services I currently offer:
30-min Consultation on Zoom
55-min Voice Lesson on Zoom
55-min Voice Lesson in Person
55-min Voice Lesson in Person with Pianist
Once you have booked an appointment, look for a Zoom invitation by email from me on the day of your lesson. If you prefer to work in person, I currently teach from 250 W. 54 Street in NYC on Fridays and Saturdays.
If you plan to work on specific repertoire in a lesson, I recommend setting up a pre-recorded accompaniment through a secondary device to play through an external speaker as we interface on Zoom. It works very nicely, and this way I will hear both you and your accompaniment balanced from your end. I play keyboard for exercises on my end, but if you prefer to utilize a keyboard on your end that works, too.
I look forward to seeing you soon,
Tami
"It's difficult to find the right words to express just what an incredible gem Tami Petty is! I've been working with Tami since moving to New York in 2012 and I feel so lucky to have been introduced to her. As a singer she is nothing short of exquisite. As a teacher and pedagogue she is down-to-earth, relatable, caring, stylistically open (I'm a jazz singer!), and is armed with a staggering knowledge of anatomy and technique. Her instruction has truly made me a better artist. She is simply the best."

She has helped to draw out my most expressive singing on many levels, and cheered me on as I’ve evolved from a more doubtful, passive stance…to one of deeper confidence and lasting joy in the craft.”

She has really changed my singing, and makes me want to be the best version of myself.”
